Id please...

I found this in my tank today. it must of come from Zoas I bought yesterday. I did dip them and I didn't see it. Does anyone know what it is? I'm thinking either some type of anemone or mushroom? But I have no idea? Thanks in advance.

Not sure I'd think mushroom...
Though zoa/paly at first but the branched "whiskers" doesn't fit..

Neat.. No matter what it is I'd keep it..

it seems to have a foot and stem like an aneome, but I can't find any anemone that comes close to this thing... Thank you all for helping. ��

Anemone taxonomy can be very hard, this is indeed an anemone but I have no idea what species. I would keep a very close eye on it if you do plan on keeping it, a lot of these are colonial and spread very quickly.

Try feeding it. If it takes the food with it tenicles easily it's an anemone. If it doesn't might be mushroom or paly

It's about half inch across, it does look similar to hell fire anemone. Thanks.

I just fed it a small piece of prawn and it closed up around it instantly. Pretty sure now it's some kind of aneome, just not sure which one.
