yeah, not a tusk.

Wrasse of some sort, possibly a Halichoeres like a red-lined or a vrolik's. Impossible to tell for sure from that angle. Get us a profile type picture.

I agree it is not a tusk...but I cant help but correcting that a Tusk is a member of the wrasse family.

Yep its a large wrasse but clearly the fish in question is not a tusk I would guess a melanaris of some sort. ive seen some more reddish ones like the one in the photo

I don't think it's H. melanurus, chrysotaenia,cosmetus, claudia or biocellatus. The single eye spot at the very front of the dorsal fin is confusing. Interested to see what Evolved thinks.
