Well after night 1, he's shown zero interest in coming above the sand.

Well, I tried again last night w/ scallops as the bait instead of shrimp. Unfortunately, no luck yet. The worm appears to be content eating the algae off of the sand.

Not sure what to do if it won't take the bait.

I may lift the rock or two near it when I do a water change this weekend, but I'm fairly certain it hasn't been using a burrow in the rocks yet.
