Found these in some LR rubble at an LFS. Been nursing them back for a week and a half. Can anyone ID them? Also any care information would be appreciated.
Would appear to be Blastomussa. Keep it under moderate light (halides or anything too bright will stress it out again), and if it will take food, offer small bits of mysis or maybe cyclopodia at night a couple times a week.
can't wait to see what color variation of the Acan Lord. from lookin at the pics of the Acan Lord variations, they are all great!
the blastomussa seems to be recovering faster than the acan. i moved it from a shaded spot to one less shaded but not under direct lighting and it seems to like it alot better. polyps seem the largest i've seen so far... I will offer mysis and arcti pods tonight.
i have this other coral that I found buried in my sand with the head poking out of the sand... at first when i noticed it i thought it was some kind of anemone but after further investigation turns out it had a skeleton in the sand. it was very bleached out but has made a great comeback. it now has 5 or 6 babies growing around the rim of the first head. this was id'd by someone here about 6 months ago as blasto also... it is really different looking as this one has a long skeleton. did it grown the skeleton to push above the sand or is is something different?
