ID Please

Hi, me again.

I have what looks like HAIR algae growing in my tank except that its BLUE!!! I do have the green stuff to but its only 2 months old and nothing in it yet. Was just about to add my clean up crew. All parameters are fine.

Any ideas, will try and get a photo if that would help.

i have heard of blue hair algae and it depends on lights maybe - i would be worried about it - yank it out and get a sea urchin or crabs

You really need to get a photo ID before wasting much more time on this. You really need to know what you are messing with before you start.
