Hi all. We've got this black and white thing growing on one of our pieces of LR. It hasn't moved at all but seems to be growing very quickly - at least 1mm every day. Any ideas? Thanks

Sorry about the pic quality, black areas are a lot blacker than the pic suggests.

No, they are harmless filter feeders.

They are filter feeders. the only problem would be if it spreads quickly & starts overgrowing corals. they pull off pretty easily if you want to get rid of it. I think their patterns are beautiful.
