Hi MarLooney,

At a glance I am not familiar with that alga. Does it feel hard / crispy (calcified)? Does it grow very fast? Where did it come from?

hard but not calcium based. it's a lil harder than caulerpas. that piece is glued down and it doesn't seem to mind the glue. grows at about a med rate. no where near as fast as a caulerpa or halimeda. i recieved it from a friend who had a small colony growing as a hitchhiker on her LR. not sure of her LR's origin.
