ID Please

Bought this wrasse as a red tail then looked it up when i got home. Needless to say not a red tail fairy anyway, and I guess i should be glad. Read that they are hard to keep.

So if anyone can give a positive ID that would be great. thanks all

Might be a "redmargin" fairy wrasse (C. rubromarginatus), but I can't see the tail, and so many of the fairy wrasses are similar in appearance (especially when you take individual color differences or stress colors, or sexual differences...).

I think you are right kevin. Thats what i was leaning towards but there arent very many pictures out there of them. Mine seams to have a little more color than the ones i have seen online which makes me think its a male. who knows.
