This is a terrible picture, but the yellow blob in my tank looks like a sponge surface and has a little clear straw-like tube coming out of the center.

They are about 1/4 inch in diameter and there are alot of them, and they are mostly under the rocks out of direct light.

What is this?

Is it dangerous?

My guess would be a sponge.

Alright! I guess they were embedded in the LR when I put it in the tank and it has taken about six months to appear. . .sweet!
