hydnophora it is super aggressive and you should keep it away form all other corals

Yep, very, very strong mesenterial filaments used as sweepers (basically digest/sting the heck out of anything growing nearby to clear the area of competitors).

It can even eject those filaments into the current so that they land on corals down stream. Dissolves them from the other side of the tank. Luckily it doesnt happen too often. Cool stuff

yeah, the upside to hydno's is that the M-filaments only reach a little way. basically, when something actually touches the hydno: LOOK OUT! but if you are daring and your frags are secured, they can be positioned close to other sps.

overall, they are righteous coral to keep. I also wish there was something called "MPS" medium polyp stony. this is where I would file: Hydnophora, Galaxia, Turbinaria, etc.
