Hey all... I got this great family of anemones from someone here.. ( don't remember who though! - thanks anyways!)

Can someone ID this? Also, I've noticed that it seems rather stressed out, the other day it looked nice and plump, yesterday it was shrivled up and greenish... today it's looking better?!? I've had it for about a month now and it seems to be coping with the move fine. Any thoughts?

I will post water parameters tomorrow night. (before everyone starts asking!)

Thanks in advance!

and yes...those are wonderful scratches... I love having nephews play with my mag float while I'm away!.... GRRRRR :mad2:

Entacmeaea quadricolor bta (bubble tip anemone), could be either adjusting to your system or digesting food, anyways i worry about it they look good, however you may want to do something about the tunze's. bta's have a habit of wandering, more so when they split.

They've been spilt for a few months... but I will keep an eye on them....

so while they're digesting they look shrivled up and more green?...wierd.... so you WOULD worry or you WOULDN'T worry? I think they were looking better but haven't looked the same in a few days...

(although now that i am thinking about it... one of my friends was feeding them while i was away for the week.... <-maybe overfed??)

sorry about the typo-
insert "wouldn't" worry about it.
the short answer is that anemones sometimes exhibit all sorts of odd contortions and whatnot reacting to various things, food digestion is just one example.
