ID please

What in the world is this? It was in a Goniopora

It looks like it's some kind of polychaete worm. How long is it? I never like having big worms in my tank, so I say get rid of it.
 
I would say it is a capitellid worm. If it is, it's a scaveger that eats waste and is beneficial to have.
 
I think you're going to need better pictures of the head for an id. If you havent already done it then its my opinion that you should just kill it. I wouldnt put it in my tank without an id, and one worms life isnt worth the hassle it might create in your tank.

BTW it doesnt look like the typical beneficial worms that are often seen. JMO
 
Nothing wrong with keeping it in a dedicated system as long as you can keep it fed. If it eats goniopora though then it may not be such a good idea.
 
that thing could be many different worms, as worms go most are ok, but anything that large could really cause issue, best not to risk it, ya know
