ID: Sea slug, Nudi, etc?

I recently found a small patch of red eggs in my 1 year old Solana (all rock/fish/coral/inverts came from an established reef which I was forced to breakdown and convert into 2 34 Solanas.

Now, I have not added anything to my tank in over 3 months, and even then it was just a few tiny frags.

Later that night, I found a tiny Nudibranch or sea slug looking thing. I took a few quick photos as this tiny thing was on the move. I could see what looked like exactly the same type of tiny red eggs in its stomach (and the eggs were still on the glass so they were not eaten by this thing, I believe it laid the eggs (its body was the same color as the eggs).

Here are the eggs:

Here is the slug/nudi (for reference sake, the white "dots" are pods):

Thanks for the help!

All my corals look good. The only coral that is not fully open (and has not been fully open all the time) is My Sun Coral (but It does open fully at night so Im not worried). I do have a large Orange sponge on a rock (which is very close to where I found the Invert, but not near where I found the eggs) which has developed a few patches.

I thought it might be this, but its not as "tough" or "thick" looking.

i picked up frags from a guy tonight and some clear cases that look exactly like your orange ones came off them when i dipped them . i should say i chiseled them off the plugs .... did you remove yours ? if so where they comparable to a vermitid snail casing when you tried to bust them off ? thats how i would describe these . i was terrified to put them in but reluctantly did so i sure hope you get some good news here !

Berthellina citrina is a lot fatter and doesn't crawl like that. I would like to see a dorsal pic, but even without one, I think I might be able to ID it. If so, you were looking on the right site but maybe not on the right page:

It feeds on spirorbid worms rather than corals or sponges.

Cheers,

Don

I think you are right! Thank you very much Pagojoe (Don).

The bio said that the eggs were bright red dots in the stomach...sure fits what I am seeing. It also says that eggs are laid as 3-5 in a group, looks like I hit the jackpot with 10!
