What's the flat looking coral on the bottom part of the picture? Thanks

I paid 24.99 at petco yesterday for the clover poly coral which came with a 1.5 inch colt coral as well... I thought that was a decent deal?

Is it a soft coral or a stoney? It kind of looks like an encrusting pavona. But, that's a stoney coral and your question is in the soft coral forums.

I have no idea what type of coral it was but since it was next to soft corals i guessed maybe it was a soft coral. Should I try to seperate the three corals or will I do more damage then good?

Touch it, then you will know if its soft or hard.
