So what are these?

Only about 3/8 inch long total. The polyps are about 1/8 in diameter. Those are very small button polyps near them for size reference. They are closed as you can see.

They look a lot like brown majano anemones based on the bulbed tentacles--- certainly a pest that you want to eliminate.

Now, their base actually looks like a zoanthid base, although I've seen majano in my tank look similar when closed up.

Are they sorta hard like a zoanthid, or soft and squishy like an anemone or xenia?

looks like my cloves.....a real pain in the royal u know what to get rid of once they get established. I'm breaking down my tank to irradicate them.

Thanks for all the input. I can see them a litle better in real life so here's some observations of mine per the suggested ID's
In this thread and from others on the net...
Folks have suggested...

Clove Polyps: Not a feathery as Cloves
Anemone types: I think folks might be looking at the closed and semi-closed zoa's(button polyps)
Pipe Organ: Lack the bulbous fleshy section at the tip just under the polyps.
