I'm not quite sure what these are...whatever they are, they're doing really really well in my tank. The pic does not show the true colors unfortunately. They're a lot brighter green than the pic shows. I think they're some sort of clove polyp???

sir dudeguy, definitely looks like clove polyps and you've got a good amount growing there! Was it a hitchhiker?

no, it wasnt a hitch hiker, and thats not even half of what i've got lol. They're harder to see in my full tank shots, but I've got 3 spots w/at least 50 polyps.

But are these a more rare type of clove??? I've NEVER seen them like this...all the other ones i see are kinda pale color with a green star shape in the center...but not solid green like mine.

Yup, Clavularia or Clove Polyps of some type, I've seen solid bright green ones, but they are less common than the typical types.

sir dudeguy, if you don't like them because they are spreading everywhere, frag the rock they are on and send it to the LFS for credit and sell it to local people in your club. They are pretty but I wouldn't want them all over my tank

mikeman, i do like them. I'm going to be redoing my whole system though, and only keeping a little of a few things. I'm gonna keep my 3 big leathers, and some zoas. If i've got room, i'll keep a few cloves, but keep them separate from everything. And ya, i've already got a bunch of local trade offers for them ;)
