not to try an hijack the thread at all but where exactly are you looking at to tell the difference in polyp count? or maybe i'm just having a stupid moment, but from my understanding each head on an lps is one polyp, sps are a bit different but i know what polyps on them are as well, i'd like to know what i'm missing here.

Polyp was probably the wrong word to describe these. Tentacles might be the correct term. A Goniopora will have 24 individual tentacles at the end of a polyp while an Alveopora will only have 12.

LFS near my house said this is goniopora stokesi,I do not know the character of this coral , what are the needs of this coral ?

my gonioporas like high like and high flow. you should also feed them. there're many micro foods available in the market nowadays.

I feed my goniopora with DIY fish food, I want to try culture phytoplankton nanochloropsis for feed them, but I don't have seed, where is market nowadays ?

what i meant by "market" is local fish stores, and online. :D two little fishies company makes "goniopower" which is food for goniopora/alveopora. you could also feed new life spectrum's reef micro feeder. and there may be many more.
