Guys, I can't get a break. :(

Lights went out yesterday for about an hour. (Everthing was fine though).

I came home today and a good portion of my zoanthid colony was closed up. It's never happened before. On closer inspection there are things on them.

They arent pods (at least they dont look like pods). they look like little green things.

Should I take them out of the tank and do a dip on them? or maybe they will be fine?.. it was an expensive colony too:facepalm: I've been dipping every coral i get.. so im at a loss here as to why these things happen to me!

Especially when I had just bought some things for a brakish water tank and was happy about setting it up.

After the dip yesterday, the colony was still not opening up. So upon closer look I saw this.. Are these the zoa eating nudis? Will reef dip kill these or do I need to get something else and dip them before they eat the whole colony :(

Let me know if you guys cant see what Im talking about. Ill edit the pictures and circle the bugs im talking about.

Currently doing a second dip with double the dose or REEF DIP.

Yes, unfortunately those are baby aeolid nudibranchs which means there's probably adult nudis as well. You'll need to do a fresh water dip, leave them in there for 5-10 minutes. Afterwards inspect each polyp's stalk for egg spirals. If you find egg sacs use the side of a toothpick to scrape them off. Use eye protection and gloves when working with zoas.

How many dips and how often Im I to do these DIPS?

I have done 2 dips with Reef Dip solution and left the colony there for about 30 minutes. Today they seem to be open, However I plan to dip again. A friend of mine told me to dip them in Lugols solution with FW that has been treated to match PH and temp.

Since I had just done a dip yesterday, when would be a good time to dip once more?

(ps.. lets take a shot of vodka every time I used the word dip in that paragraph).
