I got it from a local as it is in the picture, hopefully the RTN stops and it starts to recover. I got it last night, so if the RTN still keeps going, ill frag it up.

Most times when there that far gone they keep going. Keep a close eye on it for sure. Looks like it could be a nice piece if it recovers.

Ya I wouldn't have a wait and see attitude with with that coral....I have a feeling if you wait, you will see that there is nothing left.

Well, I fragged it up not too long ago, dipped half the frags in iodine dip and the other half I didn't to see which one does better. So, we will see what happens tomorrow...

They are not doing too well today, the frags are still RTN. I cut quite a bit into the good flesh away from the RTN areas...

Have you backed this coral up with any friends? I would spread a few of those frags around and see if they will hold on elsewhere. Actually, going with some freshly cut frags may be a better option..

How long did you dip the frags for? Did you dip all of the frags?

No, I got the SPS as a freebie when I was buying other corals. The SPS was already in RTN when the person gave it to me. But, I have some good news! It looks like 7 out of 15 frags of it will make it.

Nice. Keep up updated. Looks like a lovely coral. The corallite and colony structure remind me of "raspberry lemonade acro" which I believe is thought to be an A. nasuta. I'm in no way positive on that as far as an ID is concerned.
