Glad they didn't jump on fingers they were in a dead snail case when removed.

i handle them on a regular basis without gloves and they do not rub their bristles off that easy. when they do brake bristles off in me it usually is mildly irritating for about 10-15 minutes at most.

Yeah I have a lot of these in my tank...needing to remove the bigger ones into my Fuge lol
