So I picked this up in trade, it was really browned out and not looking good. I have had if now a few weeks and is starting to color up. It's getting a deep green and the polyps are bright yellow.

Any one know what if it's?

Monti? Cyphastrea?

Its an acro I believe, just not exactly sure on species. Looks almost like a bleached Bonsai. Though it very well could be a monti, not sure.

Yes it was very browned out, it is starting to get a nice glow to it. Dont think its a bonsai. The bottom spread out about 2 more inches but broke off in transit. Its very wide and not that high. Maybe a type of cyphastrea or monti?

Not a cyphastrea and doubt it's a monti. Looks like an acropora, as said before not sure what species.

Those round edges look similar to a humilis but i could be 100% wrong reefinny.

You know to me it actually looks like a monti grown over a dead acro skeleton. I have had this happen before. Looks kinda cool.
