Pineapple sponge. Good to have. You will have lots of them eventually. Usually in dark places.

Ok that was too short an answer. The pineapple sponge doesn't hurt anything. They can get a bit overwhelming in the tank sometimes. They are filter feeders, and do quite well with good water perams. When I turn my return off for a bit, they blow out all over the place when I turn it back on. My return pipes are loaded with them. They eventually just go back in the overflow into the socks.
