Id?

its obvious from the old pic that they are palythoas.but i wasnt convinced that it wasnt an anemone either!just because one person decides what it is and you dont like the anser does not mean its wrong to everyone else on the thread.also this is a public forum not your thread sorry if you were tired but no one deserved that!

Protopalythoa mutuki = correct

amazing that in your five years of extensive research at the

"Thatfishplace Research Facility" you haven't come across one

Hows that for educated?

Protopalythoa mutuki = correct (as of 7/3/06 with research into the reclassification or elimination of the Genus currently underway:) )

lol sorry, it was late, and i was pretty freaking tired.

i just dont like uneducated answers like that. If you're going to contribute to a thread, at least make it relevant. I've ruled out aiptasia from day 1. It has never looked, or acted like aiptasia.

the budding further supported ruling out aiptasia, or any kind of anemone. Anemones split. This polyp buds. You can clearly see that in the picture.

Sorry I didn't "think" I contributed in a negative way with my question or statement. Nor did I insult your intelligence as did you mine. Forgive me I am obviously the Uneducated one.

FWIW people like you should temper your response...this is an open forum and I hardly think you are all knowing since you asked for our help.

:D:D:D:D:D hilarious... got to love the "know it alls"

They know everything, but they still have to come on the internet to help get an ID on a paly :)
