I posted this in the softy fourm to see if i can find a name for it. Scott I beleve this is just like the one you have. Though I would share a pictrure with the club. It is about 3.5 - 4 big now ( was about 1 inch when i got it from the LFS)

Thats the same Mike..Be interesting to see what people think it is. Did you get any response on the mushroom forum?

I'd have to agree with the rhodactis ID although I've never seen one that attractive. Typically the ones available are large brown specimens without the tentacles. Coral connection has a few of the common rhodactis. IME the defining feature of this coralamorph is that they capture food and feed just like an anemone.

Here's a link (but it has an obvious error, they say they grow to 3" but they sell a 7" specimen)

I had one just like that. Bright glowing green under actinics. I fed it all the time, and it split to maybe 10 of them. Maybe they had pups off the foot- I really dont remember. They all got real big. They could and would eat a good sized chunk of fish meat. They were usually about 4" wide but sometimes get over 6". They would eat about every 3-4 days, maybe more. The more you feed them, the more they reproduce. Just like protopalythoas. They will capture fish, but I dont think they ate any of mine.
