I know there was copper in the tank because the first time I had some Cuprisorb in there, in a week or so, it was blue. I have snails in there now, so i know it isn't bad. but i think it might still be leeching out if the rocks. Maybe?

Sorry about the angel. Make sure you quarantine your next fish, whatever it is. Trust me it helps a lot.
As for the copper: If it isn't killing the snails, it isn't enough to kill the fish. Inverts are much more sensitive to copper than fish (typically the amount of copper that is recommended to MEDICATE fish with ich is enough to kill most inverts). I never said there was no copper in there, just that at this point it is not what is causing the fish to die.
