Ideas on sound deading skimmer

Hello - I have a reef octopus skimmer in my sump. It vibrates on the bottom of the sump and want to put in some sort of matting - what is reef safe to use? Obviously I don't want to use filter media etc as it would collect detritus etc.

Looking for some sort of rubber mat or other material that is reef safe.

Ideas of safe material?

Mouse pad.

I just cut some air line tubing into 4 one inch pieces and glued them to the bottom of my skimmer.

A silicone sheet works as well, like what you can use to line a baking pan.

A mouse pad does not break down in the water?

Silicone drying mats work great, you can get them on Amazon or Bed bath and beyond.

Thanks folks - I love the idea of the rubber tubing. Assume the silicone mats would say 100% silicone and be reef safe.
