I was looking around my tank last night and noticed a anemone on one of the live rocks
., I have never bought a anemone for this tank so I am pretty sure that is was a hitchhiker with a frag(I do have a few aptasia pop up, I rarely see those because I have a file fish that keeps them in check) or sprouted from one of the live rocks, the only other type I have seen in my tank were pest aiptasias. I have a mixture of figi live rock that is about 5 years old and a few rocks from pacific east aquaculture that are about three years old. I also have 20 pounds of live rock in my 40gal breeder refugium/sump that I moved from the main display that is the a mixture of the rock that is currently part of the reef of both kinds of rocks. I have no clue of the type but I am thinking a bubble tip of some sort? I have seen manjos before but they have they were green, I also have seen strawberry anemones hitch hike on live rock but they are clear with a red foot and alot smaller. Could you please help me identify this anemone so I know if I need to get rid of it?:lolspin:
My clowns are hosted to a toadstool btw lol.
