I have a week old tank, and found this on my live rock. Pic was with my phone, so color accuracy sux. You can probably guess it's more of a translucent pink than blue...

Looks like an anemone to me, but guessing that's wrong.

Any ideas?

That doesn't look like an invasive type to me, but I could be wrong.

Where did the rock come from in the world?

Honestly don't recall [emoji20] there are two of them. How can you tell if they are invasive? I still don't want them hurting any fish.

If you can remove the rock with ease just burn it off with a cigarette lighter. This can be done in a matter of minutes. Peppermint shrimp are kind of hit & miss IME. (more miss then hit) There's also a chance that they might go rouge and start picking at your corals too. I had one just destroy a Miami Hurricane chalice before. It bounced back, but that shrimp had to go... GL.

I'm kinda liking the lighter idea.
I have a candle lighter that is more like a torch. The rock is easily removed. Anyone else try burning them off?
