Identification

Hi there,

I recently noticed growths on 2 of my snails. They look spongy and have tubular openings on them. The openings of the tubes open and close every so often. Does anyone know what these are?

Cant tell on the first two pictures but in the third picture on the left side of the snail is an aiptasia.

Agree with the aiptasia diagnosis. The ID you are asking about could be a vermetid snail.

Yes I know there is an aiptasia on the snail =] Thats not what I was asking about. I have a red circle around the thing im curious about. Its actaully growing on 2 different snails.

If you can get a better picture of what you circled it would help. I can't make out what it is that you circled and anything would be a guess.
