Hmm this actually looks alot like Anthellia, but if it has an encrusting mat, like mushroomss said, it's some type of polyp- possibly a peach clove.

Hmm. They are attached to a rock, but I'd say they are on an encrusting mat (first I have ever heard the term).

Encrusting briareum. It is beautiful but keep it away from anything you don't want it to completely cover. You don't want it to spread from rock to rock. Very easy to keep. :D

I.d.?

+1 on the clove polyps not star polyps, star polyps don't have long stalks like these pink or peach cloves.:wildone:

I agree. I had some that came in as a tree shaped gorg. It was actually encrusting briareum that had completly over grown a branching sponge. The sponge died, fell apart and the briareum then took off just like GSP. Watch out or it can spread out of control.
