ID'ing this algae and what to do?

hey everyone, can we ID this algae and how to go about getting rid of it. it is only on one little pice of rock that i bout from my LFS. with some zoos on it. when i bout it it was not there, the last week pr so its bin out of control. im thinking on taking it out of the tank befor it spreads. any advice? Thanks All

I cannot tell you specific species, but I do know that it is invasive and I would remove from your tank to prevent it from choking out additional corals. Maybe get a tooth brush and try to brush it clean in separate water container using water from your aquarium. Then rinse the rock before putting back into your tank and discard the water that you scrubbed the algae free in..

Thanks i did remove it. ill try to clean it and see what happens.
