If i had a mantis......

If i had a mantis in my take would he go after a sea cucumber? I know that they like crabs and snails, but was wondering if it would go after my cucumber. I hear the snapping and am not sure what it is mantis/pistol. If i do have one of these little B....S does some body have a good trap or know where to get one or make one?

I would not recommend trying to "trap" a mantis. They are way to smart. My only recommendation is try and pinpoint where he is and then remove the rock and flush him out.
I have done this several times and it seems to work great.
