if you ever think your tank looks bad (look here)

Here's my 10 gallon prop tank, as you can see its 85-90% anthellia, thats all the stuff I removed from my 90 gallon yesterday (now you know why I want that last patch OUT)

this stuff grows like a weed for me :(

talk about a crappy looking tank (my poor prop tank)

hopefully eddies will take just about all of it off my hands tommorow and I can go back to a clean slim looking prop tank (I've got a nice toad-stool leather to chop up) :D

I've tried to steer away from such corals. The only thing i have now that spreads like a weed is bright green button polyps & Blue wth green mouth ricordea's. The orange ones grow much slower. No wonder why the price differance. They are appearing all over my LR far away from their mother colonies.

I had an orange one and my damn hermit crabs knocked it over a ledge and it fell wayy back where my big hands cant fit

I got a couple blue rics and lots of green ones, even got a rainbow ric in my 10 gal nano :)

I like the Rics. Mine are large adult sized. The orange ones are more towards the back wall and not all that visible untill just the actinics are on and ascent them. I'll have to cut a couple off and attach them up front.

I'm considering about cleaning my tank out and focusing mainly on LPS and SPS corals. I haven't taken any pics of my rescent SPS corals that i recieved from LiveAquaria. Very nice pieces. I have been seeing amazing growth with them. I have been burning my halides from 7 am till 5 or sometimes 7 pm. Running my actinics 14 to 15 hrs. Dosing heavily with Kalk due to the increased evap.

I run my halides 7am to 7pm, dont sweat it :)

maybe thats why that damn anthellia took off (haha)

ahhh! coral weeds on my beautiful coral yard! LOL! there are a few under this catagory that are relentless and destroy not by stinging always but they smother or shade out the competion to a weak state then its over. GSP can be really bad as they sting with great authority.!
