Hey everyone, it’s great to see so many veterans here in the Illinois area! I’m also a vet living in Naperville, and it’s awesome to connect with others who share similar experiences. It seems like there’s a great community of veterans here, from Tim Freeman in Plainfield to folks in Oak Park and Homer. If anyone’s ever up for a meetup, whether it's to talk about reefing, share some stories, or just grab a drink and connect, I’d love to join in!


Also, I’ve seen some mentions of the Illinois Valley Reef Club and how there’s been some talk about meetups, which sounds like a great opportunity to get to know others and share our interests outside of just being veterans. If we could set something up, even if it’s small, I think it’d be a great way to foster connections and build a stronger local community.


Looking forward to hearing from others nearby, and hopefully, we can get something together soon!
