Illinois side

Beginning to feel the powah of the Illinois side.

Wouldn't be the first time. We went to Fortel's and then Goalie66's house not too long ago. A good time was had by all.
 
Wow this is great. I would definately like to get together sometime! We could host a frag swap on the IL side sometime. Can wait until I am back up and going so I can bring some frags.

Closest towns mentioned to me are Highland, St. Jacob, Troy, and Ramsey. Do any of you have some frags for sale?
 
Depends on what you're looking for. I might have some zoanthids, green stars, possibly a shroom or two soon.
 
michealprater, I could get some frags together if you feel like driving to Granite sometime. PM me if interested.

I have been thinking as many northern IL people we have we need to get together that way.
 
I have a 180 gallon with a 75 gallon sump that I will be setting up. I have the live rock cycling in the 75 right now. Problem is, my house is for sale and when we sale it, we will be building in Granfork, IL (near Highland). So basically, I do not want to set the tank up until we move. I have been keeping reefs for nearly 8 yrs. My tank crashed a couple of years ago and I got out, now I am itching to get back in. I am going to set up a nano to get me buy until I move. I will definatly get a hold of you when I need some starts. I am not really looking for anything specific right now. I will have to keep softies, zoos and shrooms until I get the 180 going. I have dual 400w halides on it, so I will be looking for sps then.
 
Ramsey is right outside of Vandalia IL. Slice of Nature Pets is in Vandalia, we could have a meet and greet there sometime. Then we could eat at the Depot bar and grill.
 
I've made a placemark on google earth for everyone that has posted so far. Please post your location if you haven't already. I will share the results once this thread dies. As of Right now it's a tie between Granite City and O'Fallon.
 
I'm also in the process of setting up a 180 gal. and also have my rock curing in a 75 gal. In stead of waiting on a house, I'm waiting on $$$$. Maybe we can help each other out with looking for deals on equipment and so forth. Good luck.:rolleye1:
