Im confused, help me understand

The AC models all use x10 technology, right?

So Does the actual AC plug into the wall and just have probes that go in the tank and then the DC8 control pads plug into the wall by your aquarium and each outlet is assigned an address like A1, A2, ect

Or do the DC8s plug into the AC?

Do I need any other accesories for:

Sunrise sunset
Lunar Cycle
PH reading
Temp reading
Heater control
Fan control
Temprature safeguards (shutting off lights and such)


if I am buying an AC jr with temp probe, ph probe, DC8 and serial input thing?

If you want to do X-10 over the powerlines then you will need the powerline interface. If not then the DC8 would be all you need.
