I'm done

I hate to say it, but I'm done. These last few months have seen a lot of sniping and unnecessary and uncalled for comments, statements and attitudes.

There are some really good folks in the club, but I am not interested in all the drama/problems that a few seem to want to create.

I'll still be around and checking all my emails and am still more than willing to help anyone who asks with whatever I can help with.

But as to the club, for now, I'm done.

Mike don't go, we really appreciate all the hard work you've done for all of us.
The club has definately changed since my first meeting at Pat's house with 5 of us there.
There are a handful of people that like to pick on each other here on RC but I think the meetings are still a great way to get together and I hope it doesn't all fall apart with your absence.

It is sad to see you go. I have had a good time at the meetings, and goodness knows we needed someone to help us focus at times. It seems like the club is kinda like a family, both good and bad. Like has been said before, I respect your decision and appreciate the effort you have put into the club. Still, I hate to see you leave.

So where do we go from here? Obviously the meetings will not be the same without mike, because he was the structure of the club. The way I see it is that we do have a little nip picking here and there between members but we all get along in the end. Anyways thanks for all you have done mike, hopefully you will reconsider your decision in the future. I know I wonââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t enjoy the meetings as much with you out of the picture.

The club will definitely be different. Maybe I don't pay enough attention to people's comments or maybe I just don't care. In the meetings, actual meetings, not just this dumb (not really) message board, I thought meetings went very well. I don't even know how long I've been a member, almost 2 years I guess but I always enjoyed Mike heading them up and I'm really disheartened to see you go.

It's so hard to percieve one's tone when it's typed on here if you don't know them and it seems to boil down to just that, tone. I'm sure not all the negative comments were "jokes". Sad to see a few people spoil it for everyone.

Oh well, time to go drink a beer!!

Wow Mike! I know I haven't been a member for much time, but it seemed like our monthly meetings were great and fun for everyone. You did a great job from what I could tell. You even spent some time giving me tips with the camera. I've seen some bickering on the forum here, but it didn't seem like much of a deal. It seems that as soon as jjinx (sp?) started posting before he was moved on I noticed a little tension stirring up from your announcement at the meeting and now the discount thing. Maybe this was not it at all, but there was nothing else that I took notice of. Being new to the club, I sincerely hope it wasn't anything I did or said.

As others have mentioned, please reconsider this. You've done a great job!

Sorry to see you go Mike. Wish you wouldn't but I don't know the situation.
I really don't pay too much attention to what's going on outside of the meetings, but I do enjoy them when I attend. I'll keep going when I can and do whatever I can to help the club keep going.
