In this post I talk about my new buy!
Light:
Aquatic Life t5ho dual lamp.
pump:
hydor koralia nano 425.
Finally, after 3-4 months of having my 20 gallon long set up and running. I have better lighting...at first I only had one of those x1 bulb fluorescent light fixture. My upgrade was to a T5HO dual lamp fixture. 10,000k daylight, 420/460 actinic blue. Looks gorgeous!
And my return jet is fighting along side my new hydor koralia nano 425 I also bought with this light. $20 for this pump, brand NEW! gotta love dr foster and smith
I'm excited to see what I decide on putting in my tank. seems like yesterday I was asking questions about cycling...this tank has come alone way with in the past few weeks...even though it is still empty of fish/corals.
Got most of the equipment, though. would like a ATO, skimmer, and a timer to time these lights.
Question:
how long should I keep my lights on?
I'm a night owl, so I'm up during the night...a lot.
lastly, here are a few photos.
thanks for reading!
