Does anyone know what this Acro is?
I am Going to call it Purple Sherbet henceforth regardless, but
I would like a scientific I.D. if anyone has it.
The base is Green, Body is White, and Tips are Purple, Polyps are
light Green. I bought it as a bleached out coral and the colors
Have come in this way. Neat litte Acro, and seems like a fast grower.

The Green is much more pronounced in person.
BTW does Anyone know how to get the colors to show up better
on a Cannon S3is?

I actually have a True Bali Tri-Color Valida and another A. Valida And they look Completely Dissimilar. Hence the inquiry, The Coralites are not nearly as long and there are lateral lines in them. But my first impression was Valida as well.

Well I found the Source of my Frag here on RC, it's JGONZ.
He aquired it through D&G here in Colorado as a 1" frag.
Here is a picture of the Mother:

Still think it's Valida?

Nice colony! I think you do have a true A. valida, though. The other colony looks more like A. nana. These two species can look very similar, plus, to keep it interesting, there is possibly another, yet to be described species involved. A. valida is very variable, as is A. nana. /A. azurea.
