REEF NERD
I just ordered the zeo rock and in a week or so im getting the other parts of the method..Have any of you tried it or im i crazy for trying

What made you decide to try it? It would be interesting to see someone's tank that we know trying it.
If you don't mind can you outline what you have to do for it?
Costs? If you don't want to post could you PM me. I am just curious. Good luck too.

I did it for about a year before I gave up. To expensive and the improvements were not that great in my tank.

Thank you for the interesting read Randy. I have read some about this method, mostly for the heck of it. It looks extremely expensive, which I figured, and the attention to detail and dosing regiment finite.
Good luck Dave and I hope that it works for you. Please post.

Im getting the zeo through www.zeovitusa.com seems to be the cheapest that i have found. I got the one liter of zeo rock for like 29$ shipped. I will be ordering the rest in a few weeks. Im sure the method is expensive for big tanks but mine is small and the stuff should last a good while. I have good color and all but i want super color and i feed my fish good so this should help

You need the bak and the start, I wouldn't start the system without those two. The food will be needed, but you can wait until later. You have to be careful with this system, constantly monitor your alkalinity and potassium, and work up to full strength over several weeks, but you can achieve excellent results. If you really want to play with fire, I can give you some ZeoSpur which lightens your corals overnight. Good luck and check out the forum that goes by the same name as the product if you haven't already. There are some very advanced people over there and not all necessarily using the product.

Dave
