I want to replace 1 or both of the filter socks with media baskets.
Was thinking of replacing both to help keep pod population etc. I figure the socks just catch everything.
Should I replace both socks. Or just one?
Is there another option for running carbon instead of the media basket? My last tank was a standard 29 with hang with on filter, which had the carbon in it.
I'm ranting..... Could I just remove the socks and run bags of seachem media and stuff a aquaclear carbon bag on top?
