IM Mini 38 Failures?

There's a post on here about one cracking. I would think it's not common but frankly I wouldn't want to risk it. And that's coming from someone who LOVES his nuvo 16
That's the problem - I agree. If there is a chance of stress fracture where the glass is bent it would worry me. I love the tanks but may not be able to get over the threads I've read.

I currently have my tank in a trash can. I purchased a IM Nuvo 38 in mid November. I used rock from a prior tank. It was packed with coral. I came home this week and saw a 1 inch fracture in the bent glass. Within 15 minutes it began to fracture. I saved much of the livestock. The local store had another tank but would not help. The rep for Innovative Marine says they are going to replace the tank (1 month).
I have at least $2,000.00 worth of coral and 5 fish in a 50 gallon rubber maid trash can.
The coral is not looking good.

Thanks for the reply. I trust you & don't need to see pictures. Any chance of a fracture on the bent glass is too great for me.
I think I'll stick with PicOaquarium.
