The colors might be off due to stress from shipping. On the other hand, actinics are often overused which dramatically changes the colors. Also, due to different types of lighting, how a coral looks in one tank can be very different than how it looks in our tank. I actually emailed a popular vendor and told him I loved one of their corals but could tell the actinics were very strong (the eggcrate was VERY blue) thus I wanted to know what the "real" color of the coral was. He was gracious, apologized, and said they were going to start using a bit less actinic when photographing due to your said type of problem.
