I'm turning out to have 2 addicting and equally expensive hobbies.

Here are some more pictures of my 180, and mainly the fish. I think everything is shot with a nikkor 105mm lense. I've been playing with my lighting to get some better color with the fish. And nothing is photoshopped.

One the coolest thing about my wrasse is how it changes color.

yeah thats a lunar, how big is it? and how big was it when it started changing color like that?

mine is only about 2 inches and still has dark stripes

The exif does not give the ISO, but your going to want to get the shutter speed up a bit and perhaps stop the lens down some to get sharper images, this may require use of a hotshoe flash.

7 inches, ooh he just started doing that, I haven't nailed down why, just some days I look in the tank and he is blue. those pictures where taken at the same time. I hope you have a big tank and some mean fish, because he is a holy terror.

thanks for the great news, i have a 92 corner and this sucker is growing pretty quick but so far its behaved. the way he moves i wont be able to get him out without emptying the tank, but maybe that will be a reason to upgrade :rolleye1:

At least these addictions won't kill you....may have you killed...but won't kill you outright.
I"ve been informed I ahve enough fish pictures already, I've only had this camera a month.
Here is a slide show of the puffer at work!

if you click on the picture it will take you to a slide show.

Just make sure the other fish are meaner, and you should be ok. Mine gets chanced around by the angels, and the sailfin. But he does his share of chasing. I think he is an adrenaline junky because he'll try to get the food my 7 inch puffer is eating and he has a big beak.
