well glad to see alot of the folks from here got some goodies i wish i could of gone sunday but i did get a few hours in there on saturday and it was a very nice show.all the vendors had nice setups and picked up a few things ill go again next year hopefully a few days

Its to bad he had so much trouble with the tank and getting it to Maryland.
I wonder if there is a way for a local shop to buy the live stock in the tank at the show? The winner could just get a duplicate sent to his home when he's ready. This would let any winner get it home without killing everything. Maybe the ORA guys could do a package.

Great show that gets better every year.

Woah! I just got a call from Discovercard. They said one of the vendors had charged >$2,600 on my credit card. All I bought was a $25 coral from them! I'm sure it's a mistake...

Dave at oceans floor offered him 3 grand for just the tank stand and fuge, he said he wanted 6... He also offered 300 for the chiller, another no. He was not very good at auctioning things tho lol.

Actually, I did actually get a really special coral from that 120g tank. A huge frag (larger than my fist), w/hundreds of teal zoas on it! What you got to trade? How bout those pinks? I gotta wait till I get my 90g going though...

I have pinks, reds, blues with yellow skirts, oranges, greens, all sorts of zoas up for trade 8D. LMK when you are ready, I'm always looking for more heh. I bought about 20-25 new corals this weekend, kind of rediculous :lol:. It took me about an hour to find spots for everything, I need to settle down. That will never happen tho heh. Got any pictures?

He should have taken the offer for the equipment. After selling off everything he could of ended up close to 5000 and still made his flight.

Its hard to second guess someone with that much pressure to do somthing after winning.

I agree. I don't know why some folks would even bother to put a ticket in for a raffle like that. I bought $50 worth of tickets for that tank. I had started lining up folks to take care of the rock, etc. for me, since I was leaving on vacation this week. Hubby was waiting by the phone to take his truck to the hotel to PU the tank. Oh well, there's always next year...
