Imac ?

I just got this email from them:

Since we have reached the break-even point, you
can attend IMAC for FREE. Thatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s right, you donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t get a name tag or
Program Book and you canââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t buy raffle tickets but you can see the speaker
presentations and the exhibits for nothing. Since IMAC is being held so
close to you, you canââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t pass this up. If after checking it out you can
always buy a daily pass for $50, or a full 3 days for $99 and then you
will be able to take in the extra activities.

Here's the whole email:

Hi;

Well, IMAC (The International Marine Aquarium Conference) is just
around the corner, being held in Chicago April 28, 29 and 30 at the Crowne
Plaza Hotel in Rosemont. The Banquet is sold out but you can still get
tickets that cover everything else for just $99 for all 3 days or $50
for 1 day.

But hereââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s a bonus.

You can check out the speaker presentations on the website
www.theimac.org .

So mark those 3 days on your calendar and make sure to check it out.
You wonââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t find a deal like this again.

Cheers;

International Marine Aquarium Conference

I've relayed the confusion with reference to other conversations. I'm sure he'll post here soon. j

IMAC for FREE

IMAC for FREE

Hi Everybody

Yes, IMAC is now free, since we have reached the break-even point and it is not our intention to make a bunch of money on it.

There are still a lot of people out there who have never attended a major conference like IMAC, and this is a way to get your feet wet without costing anything.

You can attend the speaker presentations and see the exhibits without charge. If you then want a name tag, a Program Book and to participate in the big raffle, then you can buy a full registration (without Banquet), or a daily ticket for $50 and you get a nametag, a Program Book and the ability to take part in the big Raffle.

You probably can't get into the Crowne Plaza, their IMAC room block is full, but the Doubletree next door still has some openings for $109/night. Their number is 1-847-292-9100, but you may get a better rate if you go through Travelocity, orbitz, hotels.com, etc.

Cheers,
Dennis

not to mention there is about a million hotels in chicago that are a small walk/cab ride away!
