My imperator angel fish start to loss coloration
Does any one know way?
He is in my tank for a couple of year and always look fine.

The only change that I have made is adding a huge Acanthurus olivaceus (Orangespot surgeonfish)

let me just add, that the fish is acting normaly as allways.

Some picture of the fish from today.

I had the same problem and my emperor is just about dead. Check your water, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. He is turning white bc he is stressed out.

is this new fish possibily picking on him? Have you seen any aggression?

There is def, something not right as he looked great in the last pic from a few months before.

what is he eating and are you sure he is eating liek he was before the new addition?

The olivaceus is not picking on him.
In fact the emperor is the leader of the aquarium,
And beside the color change nothing has changed.
I feed them as usual (brine shrimps, seaweeds, new life spectrum, and more…)
