I'm hoping it's a doreensis because I think they are relatively not fish eaters.

Yes, it is an M. doreensis --- LTA.

What lights was it under? What lights do you have?

It was at a wholesaler in LA until my LFS bought it... Don't know the lights. I have 3 400w MH's and VHO actinics so I think he'll have enough light. I worry about two things. 1 chemical warfare with my RBTA, and fish eating. I had briefly a m. doreensis that I couldn't get to attach a few years ago. My RBTA is 2 years with me or so and hasn't eaten anyone. This one hasn't moved in the last 24 hrs, and I just worry about my fish...If he dies, there's not much I can do. I know he's probably bleached, but darnit I like him that way.

They do host supposedly.

I would make sure that you acclimate it to your lights. I would suggest 3 layers of window screening, with removing a layer every 5-7 days.

I have had M. doreensis host several different clowns over the years.
