In need of a sump for my BC14.

Alright so ive decided to setup a sump on my biocube 14. Just wondering if anyone here in town has a smaller sump they are no longer using and would sell to a future fwmas fellow reefer for a decent price? Thanks - Andy

Define "smaller." I have a sump I've been meaning to clean up and sell that holds about 10-15 gallons. Needs a new bulkhead and some cleaning. $50 and it's yours.

I'll try to dig it out of the garage tomorrow and take measurements and pictures.

It's acrylic and a pretty standard 3 chamber style. First chamber is return, which I filled with live rock. Baffles between first and second chambers. Second chamber I used for my skimmer. With creative placement, I could barely fit in my ASM G3. A sponge separates the second chamber from the return chamber. It's drilled for an external return pump and that's why it needs a new bulkhead. The valve fitting for my pump is glued and will have to be cut off in order to remove the bulkhead.

mojo~ - I would really like to build a custom. But Im trying to do this sump as cheap as I can without cheaping out if you know what I mean. Plus Im building a custom stand so I need a sump to build it to fit.

Miasma_F - Sounds great man hope to hear from you soon about it. Im really stoked. In all my time with salt water Ive never had a tank with a sump. I may add some egg crate to add some cheato to it and I dont plan on having any live rock in the sump so that will help with room there.

LOL! Is that the 30 gallon he is selling?
