ok heres my situation i just got my tank and everything setup but i have one problem my protein skimmer isnt working right if someone really knows about protein skimmer could u plz pm me with your number to walk me thru wut i might have messed up on setting up the protein skimmer...? thanks

First of all welcome.

New protein skimmers can take up to a week to start working properly. All of the plastic parts have an oil residue that is on them when they are new. You have to be patient for the residues to wear off. Over time the skimmer will get internally coated with a slime from the tank. That also helps the skimmer work better and your bubbles will start to climb.

Now, it would help to know which make an model skimmer you have. We can guide you through the quirks of adjustment after 3 or 4 days of operation.
